Beverly Head is a Wound Ostomy Clinician for an 800+ patient population in the acute hospital setting of a major hospital system, treating patients at all levels of acuities, covering in the ER, ICUs, OR, Psychiatric Hospital, Medical, Surgical, Rehab, Hospice and Outpatient. She has conducted a Stoma Clinic for 10 years to assist Ostomates in achieving confident, independent lives. Additionally, Beverly has been active in the Upstate Ostomy Support Group for over 4 years, demonstrating commitment to providing support beyond acute care settings. She serves as an educator and mentor, providing clinicals for WOC nurses and is an active member of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ at the local, state and national levels.
