The Mindful Check-In: Bringing stressed clients into the present moment.
When you're working one-on-one with a client, the first step in every session is to get them into the present moment so that they can truly focus on the work you’re doing together. This can be challenging when working with a client suffering from anxiety, PTSD, depression, or any other stress-related condition, where their mind is constantly stressed.
In this short video clip, Elisha explains how to use the mindful check-in. It’s a simple breathing exercise that only takes a couple of minutes, and you can incorporate it into your practice easily.
Will you try the Mindful Check-In with your clients?
