Overview the B2B Sales Team:
The PESI B2B Sales Team identifies opportunities to deliver world-class behavioral health, rehab, and healthcare education to organizations and professionals around the world!  As an international leader in continuing education, PESI is looking to expand its educational reach by identifying new, as well as scaling existing, business-to-business opportunities. The bounds of this position will only be limited by the entrepreneurial spirit of the successful candidate that accepts the role. Candidates for this position must be team players, possess exceptional drive, be entrepreneurial, love the game of business, and be naturally curious.  Our goal is to meet the needs of organizations that want to train groups of their staff at a time and place convenient for them.  A successful B2B Sales and Service Coordinator will embrace working in an environment where building relationships is key. 

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Correspond with PESI customers to identify, support and resolve B2B customer needs; maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the B2B Sales team to identify potential customers. Create and execute the outreach strategies to build organizational sales funnel
  • Support opportunities for sales campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased business
  • Execute daily phone/e-mail activity for generating and following up on customer needs
  • Develop rapport with new customers, answer questions related to sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship
  • Service and facilitate events sold including partnering with internal staff
  • Partner with the internal team, marketing, and other departments to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue
  • Support the sales team to complete and maintain accurate sales information and perform reporting functions on an ongoing and timely basis including quotes/pricing and contracts
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within CRM
  • Become an expert in organizational products and services to support client needs
  • Assist in identifying ways to maximize automation and streamlining processes 

What You Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • 2+ years of professional experience related to sales, customer service and/or continuing education
  • Associate Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A keen entrepreneurial drive with the ability to act independently with a sense of urgency and the confidence to handle a variety of challenges
  • Accountable for individual performance measures
  • Exceptional relationship development and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Comfortable with making outbound sales contacts
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving, negotiation skills would be preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Hubstop)

Overview the Business Development Team:
The business development team is a group of strategic thinkers who create and market dynamic continuing education seminars and courses. This team focuses on identifying and evaluating topics for mental health, healthcare and rehab professionals that are both relevant and exciting for professionals to attend. Additionally, this team builds relationships with expert speakers, trainers, and authors in the fields of psychotherapy and healthcare, assisting them in the design of seminars and online courses, developing clear marketing strategies and compelling sales copy; while collaborating with a small, close-knit team. This is a team of experience business-minded professionals with whom you will grow and expand your knowledge by collaboration and innovation.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Identify the latest trends, techniques, approaches, topics, and voices in the field psychotherapy, healthcare and rehabilitation that are most relevant to professionals
  • Turn those ideas into compelling seminars, courses, and training programs that professionals will find useful and want to attend
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing presenters
  • Create data-driven direct mail and digital marketing campaigns through writing compelling sales copy and determining the most pertinent target audience
  • Maintain a robust knowledge of the field of psychotherapy and healthcare 
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies and align future campaigns with current data and trends.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively by creating goals for yourself, meeting deadlines, and communicating ideas clearly to team members

What You Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in one or more areas marketing, new business development, product

Requirements:

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Solicit sponsorships, advertisers, and exhibiting partners for our conferences
  • Grow revenue through creative opportunities for our customers
  • Negotiate agreements with show service providers, promotional item suppliers, photographers, and sell advertising
  • Evaluate external inquires for PESI advertising and partnership opportunities and distribute to the correct internal teams as needed
  • Collaborate with the show service provider to confirm the floorplans and exhibitor kits
  • Travel to our events and provide onsite management for the exhibit hall from event execution to the post event tear-down (Anticipated travel up to 3-5 times a year)
  • Ensure that all promised sponsorship deliverables are completed
  • Coordinate logistics related to the virtual components of our hybrid exhibit hall
  • Plan engaging activities and experiences to draw traffic into the exhibit halls
  • Utilize technology for exhibitor registration and marketing follow up
  • Coordinate exhibitor conference communications pre-event, during the event through all channels, and post-event
  • Work internally with multiple departments to ensure that continuing education standards are met, and post-event financials are reported
